Who we are
Uncovering God is an independently operated online Christian ministry based in Houston, Texas. Our website is uncoveringgod.com. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the website or contact us. For privacy questions, email info.cwgministries@gmail.com.
Information you provide
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and manage related correspondence.
Please share only what is necessary for your question. Messages about faith or prayer can reveal sensitive information about religious beliefs, health, or personal circumstances. Please do not send passwords, financial account details, identity documents, or private information about another person without their permission.
Information collected when you visit
Our website and its service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, pages requested, referring website, and the time of your visit. This information supports website delivery, security, troubleshooting, and usage measurement.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics through MonsterInsights and Burst Statistics to understand how visitors find and use the website and to improve its content. Google Analytics processes website activity and device information through Google’s services. Burst Statistics is configured to recognize returning visits using a first-party cookie with an anonymous identifier; its statistics are stored with our WordPress website. An anonymous identifier does not necessarily mean that every piece of associated information is anonymous under privacy law.
Cookies and similar technologies can also support sign-in, security, and remembering privacy choices. You can use the website’s cookie banner to select available preferences and your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some website features. Deleting cookies can remove saved preferences.

Service providers and external content
We rely on providers to host and operate the website, deliver email, protect against spam and abuse, and maintain backups. These include Bluehost for website hosting and Google’s Gmail service for correspondence sent to our public contact address. Relevant information may be processed by these providers as part of delivering their services.
Pages may link to or display content from other websites, such as videos and Bible-reference tools. Loading third-party content or following an external link may allow that provider to receive technical information and use cookies under its own policies. This policy does not govern those other websites.
We do not sell visitor information or use it to run targeted advertising campaigns. We do use the analytics and service providers described above to operate and understand use of the website.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect people, or defend legal rights.
Comments and accounts
If comments are available on a page and you submit one, the comment form collects the information you enter. Your displayed name and comment may become public. WordPress may also process your IP address and browser details for spam detection. Please avoid putting private information in a public comment. Administrative accounts use additional sign-in and security information to operate the website.
How long information is kept
Contact messages and email correspondence do not currently have a fixed automatic deletion period. We may retain them for ongoing correspondence, administration, security, or legal needs. You can request deletion using the contact details below. Analytics, security logs, comments, and backups are subject to separate system and provider retention settings. Deleting information from the live website or mailbox may not immediately remove copies from existing backups.
Your privacy choices and requests
You may contact info.cwgministries@gmail.com to ask about personal information associated with you or request access, correction, or deletion. Please describe your request without sending sensitive identity documents. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on your location and the laws that apply; some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
Children’s information
Our website is intended primarily for adults in the United States and is not directed to children under 13. Children may read publicly available content, but children under 13 should not submit personal information through our forms or comments. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact info.cwgministries@gmail.com so we can review and address the information, including deletion where appropriate.
Security and processing location
We use HTTPS and website security tools to help protect information. No website, email system, or backup method can guarantee complete security. The ministry operates in the United States; service providers may process information in other countries under their own arrangements.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as website features or information-handling practices change. The published policy will show its latest effective date. For questions about this policy or your information, contact info.cwgministries@gmail.com.
