At UncoveringGod.com, our mission is to teach God’s Word with accuracy, clarity, and conviction. We aim to equip believers and seekers to understand Scripture through sound exegesis, thoughtful reflection, and the Socratic method—helping them uncover God’s truth, confront life’s hardest questions, and live out their faith with authenticity and courage.

Our vision is to see a generation of believers rooted in Scripture, walking boldly in God’s truth, and influencing the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We strive to create a global online community where biblical teaching is accessible, persuasive, and transformational—leading people not only to know God’s Word but to live it out daily for His glory.

Our Beliefs & Statement of Faith

At UncoveringGod.com, we affirm the core truths of the Christian faith as revealed in Scripture. These beliefs unite us with the global body of Christ and form the foundation of our teaching, ministry, and mission.

1. The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). It is the final rule for faith, doctrine, and life.

2. God

We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). He is sovereign, holy, loving, and worthy of all worship.

3. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man (John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory (1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11).

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is God, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, and dwells in all who are saved. He empowers, guides, teaches, and seals us until the day of redemption (John 16:8; Ephesians 1:13–14; Galatians 5:22–23).

5. Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10). Good works are the fruit of salvation, not the basis of it (James 2:17).

6. The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers everywhere (1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Ephesians 4:4–6). Its mission is to glorify God, proclaim the gospel, make disciples, and serve in love.

7. Humanity

We believe all people are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26–27) but are separated from Him by sin (Romans 3:23). Our greatest need is reconciliation with God, which is only possible through Jesus Christ.

8. Eternity

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved to eternal life with God, and the lost to eternal separation from Him (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:11–15).
